  1. Heart Attack: The Leading Cause Behind Valvular Heart Disease Heart attack is one of the leading causes behind the valvular heart disease. A valvular heart disease happens when there is a fault in any one of the four valves of the heart. According to American Heart Association, about 5 million people in the country are diagnosed with heart valve disorders every year. This statistics has made people wary and now many people tend to opt for the valvular heart disease treatment in NY.
