  2. The Detroit Story League has a long history of community service. • Summer Storytelling program project with the Detroit Public Library, Redford Branch. Year long storytelling commitment to a senior citizens home.

  3. More DSL Community Service ….. Personal Library of over 300 titles bequeathed to the Mt. Clemens “Raconteurs Collection” to serve as an ongoing storytellers’ resource collection nation-wide, for storytellers now and yet to come.

  4. More DSL Community Service ….. http://www.detroitstorytelling.org/html/story_bureau.html DSL Story Bureau since 1912. The Story Bureau accepts requests from the general public for storytellers to perform at non- profit schools and organizational functions. Tellers perform voluntarily as a service to the community.
