  2. 01 WHAT DID I DO

  3. What did I do ? We organised in our group what aesthetic we wanted so we could find music based ion the idea and found songs that would fit into it the theme. We presented our ideas to the whole class to get feedback on what they though of the direction we were taking it in We showed the song Fix your Face by the artist Seeyousoon. The song was by a young female and it featured two male rappers The music video that we also showed to the group was a fun, eccentric and crazy video. It was very low budget video with simple editing and video trick like using a cup of water For our music video we want simple backdrop and to project different colours and patters with funky clothing and makeup as it is what the younger demographic is which the age we are aiming our music video for.

WHAT DID I LEARN Key Comments: • Teenage demographic prefer simple shooting style,less time consuming, performance based, hip hop and rap style video Negatives: • Only targets a single age group not accessible to older audiences reduces audience. Low budget music video and can sometime look cheap • Moving forward with our idea that we still want to proceed with we need to find a different song as the song we presented when casting it would be hard to find the right people • We need to make sure if we do the video it doesn’t become boring as it is performative and there is no story to follow on to. We ned to get the right props to fit the scene

  7. What are going to be the next steps…. We are going to look at different song with a similar vibe where we can find people to cast in the video easier The song we found Poster girl by Talia Godess which is just a female singing so casting will be easier It also has less streams and views so it will be easier to use and makes it easier to create an image as there is no music video as there are no expectations
