The D-A-CH training system • The D-A-CH training system is the basis for the mutual recognition of training courses for assessors • It was agreed on between the accreditations systems of Germany (D), Austria (A) and Switzerland (DAR, BMwA, SAS) • Basic principle 1:The overall responsibility for the qualification of their assessors rests with the accreditation bodies • Basic principle 2:Certificates for the participation in training courses according to the D-A-CH Framework Programme are recognised mutually 2010-06-09 – Slide 3 Dr. Tilman Denkler

Approval of assessors by an accreditation body • DAR-3-EM-06: Specimen for a formal approval procedure in terms of ISO/IEC 17011, Para. 6.2.2 • Application by assessor • Formal document review by AB • Review on technical aptitude by AB • Formal approval of assessor by AB • Contract between assessor and AB • AB keeps records on performance of assessor and reviews assessor 2010-06-09 – Slide 14 Dr. Tilman Denkler

Mutual recognition of training courses for assessors • Based on an agreement between BMWA, DAR, SAS (DAR-3-EM-11) with these principles: • Overall responsibility for the qualification of their assessors rests with the ABs • Certificates for the participation in training courses according to the D-A-CH Framework Programme are recognised as training courses for assessors • Information about planned training courses for assessors is mutually exchanged and courses are open 2010-06-09 – Slide 15 Dr. Tilman Denkler
