  1. PROPOSAL PREPARED FORPresident - Harold KernINSTABOOK BY THE GUNDANIUM CONSULTING COMPANY .

  2. Hello! Mr. Kern ~ We want to THANK YOU and your Management Staff for the opportunity to present our ideas to you today. We have enjoyed working with Larry Luddite, Ting-Lin Lee, Lisa Cornwall and Jake Monroe and want to extend our sincere appreciation for the time they took with us to show us who Instabook is…. Where you are…. And where you want to go with your business today!

  3. Get to know us…. We are The Gundanium Consulting Company

  4. We believe in you…. Today we would like to review our services and present our thoughts to rebuild and expand your company presence on the Internet. We believe in the future of Instabook and your future in e-commerce. With a custom designed website created for your target audience, a user friendly plan for site maintenance and your great product, Instabook will be the perfect compliment with all of today’s Digital online books.

  5. The Gundanium Consulting Company was founded in 2008 by five graduates of Penn State University. It was developed in our Web Design class and after our strong project experiment, we decided to take it out to the real world. Our experienced company has designed and developed over 200 websites to date.  We love a challenge, and no project is too big or small for us to take on. The Gundanium Consulting Company

  6. Meet our team…... of dedicated professionals: • Jessica Berda has been the IT Manager for the past 3 years and could not ask for a better team. • Thomas Devine, our amazing Web Developer, is our main resource for javascript. • Edward Gussin is the absolute best Web Designer you will ever find, in fact he graduated at the top of his class. • Selena Rummel our Graphic Artist has an extensive portfolio and skills using adobe suite products. • Marci Watson is our Programmer/Web Liaison working in HTML, PHP and JSP.

  7. The Objective Today… You have asked us to design a website for you… • So let's establish your site objectives.  Site objectives are the "why" of website creation. • Why will this site exist? What niche is being filled? If you aren't filling a niche, your site will have to be very powerful (and likely much less expensive) to compete with the existing players. This marketing is the best way to enter a specialized market.

  8. And discuss… • Why will people visit? And return? Just offering something people want is not compelling. Just stop and think about it – most sites offer products that people want. Why should they visit (and buy from) your website? • How will you measure the success of this website? Incremental goals are best. Using weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets allow you to gauge growth and see what's working – both in terms of layout and marketing.

  9. Revenue Generation How Will This Site Create Revenue? • Direct Revenue: Obviously the most common way is to sell something. There are many variations of this, including hard goods (that physically ship to the consumer), electronic goods (that are downloaded or emailed) or services that don't ship, but are performed. The essence is the same for all these: direct online sales. You are responsible for processing orders and payments, along with customer service questions and concerns.

  10. Revenue Generation How Will This Site Create Revenue? • Indirect Revenue: Some sites focus on directing prospects to a physical location, but don't actually process transactions directly online. This is of decreasing popularity as a primary use of a website, but is still important component for every business with both a physical and online presence. This type of revenue can be difficult to track, unless a specific tracking component is included in your marketing campaign.

  21. Website Navigation There are a number of different design patterns for effective organization of website content. We think the best choice for your company would be to use the Co-Existing Hierarchies Pattern.

  22. Navigation – Co-Existing Hierarchies Pattern Co-Existing Hierarchies Pattern As an alternative to the strict hierarchy, there’s also the option of co-existing hierarchies. There are still parent and child pages, but in this case, child pages may be accessible from multiple parent pages/higher-level pages. This works well if there’s a lot of overlapping information on your site.

  23. Navigational Tools Here is a list of some of the navigational tools we plan to use when developing the website. • A Navigation Bar • Hyperlinks • Sitemap • Text links • Breadcrumb Navigation • Facet Layered Navigation • Site ID • Header • Footer Navigation
