Bruise. Causes. A bruise is a result of blood that has leaked out of the deeper layers of the tissues. It can be caused by a hard contact or pressure. Treatment. To speed up the healing process you should apply an ice pack to stop the blood flow to the area.

  2. Causes • A bruise is a result of blood that has leaked out of the deeper layers of the tissues. • It can be caused by a hard contact or pressure.

  3. Treatment • To speed up the healing process you should apply an ice pack to stop the blood flow to the area. • You can also elevate the area as it decreases the amount of blood flow.

  4. Pulled Muscle

  5. Causes • It can be caused by a sudden movement • It is more likely to happen if you have not warmed up properly.

  6. Treatment • Rest for 1-5 days • Apply ice to reduce swelling • Wait until you are fully recovered before you next exercise

  7. Faint

  8. Causes • Can be caused by not enough blood flow to the brain • It can also be caused when you are dehydrated

  9. Treatment • Place the person on their side so they are supported • Tilt their head back to open their airway • Watch their pulse and their breathing and call 999.
