  4. Training • Required New Teacher/New Librarian Training (Up to 16 hours paid by HR for training outside the school day. All others get credit.) – See Calendar • A Celebration dinner in May!

Library Technicians / Paras • A Library Tech/para in the library means • The library is open • Kids are checking out materials • Library Tech/para plans books for story time – not lessons • The Library Tech/para does NOT plan any library lessons. The teachers must plan these. The library tech can carry out parts of the lesson once it is planned. • Teachers come to the library with their students • NO LIBRARY GRADES ARE GIVEN!
