Recovery • Current Operations – • 3 Damage Assessment Teams leaving to conduct PDAs in the NE Counties impacted by Hurricane Frances • Continue assisting with Response activities • Orlando DFO Re-deployment completed today (9-8-04) • FEMA -1545-DR-FL added Counties for IA are: Alachua, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Hendry, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, and Volusia • Additional Counties to be requested for IA are: Baker, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hardee, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Nassau and Union • Unmet Needs – • Continue to seek additional staff for Recovery activities • Future Operations – • Conduct State/Federal PDAs for IA and PA (Reference T#'s 2995 and 3038) • Identify and establish Disaster Recovery Centers per assessment • Prepare Community Relations Operation Plan and deploy • Update Hurricane Charlie Mitigation Strategy to include Hurricane Frances activities • Conduct PA and HMGP Applicant Briefings Up next – SERT Chief
