  2. What is a joint? • A region where two bones meet together is called a joint. Such as knee joint, elbow joint, shoulder joint, etc.

  3. IMPORTANCE OF JOINTS • Joints allow movement of body parts. • We are able to do our daily activities such as walking, running, bending, writing or doiny any other work.

  4. How are the two bones joined? • Two bones are joined together at a joint with the help of tough tissues callad LIGAMENTS

  5. What makes movement of bones easy at a joint? • End of each bone a tough ,smooth ,shinny substance called CARTILAGE and a slippery fluid is present. • Cartilage coated bones do not bump or scratch against each other.
