  9. ExploringEthics • Free partnership event with UCSD’s Center for Ethics in Science and Technology • Traditional lecture with moderated discussion • Mainly speaker, moderator driven • 30 min PowerPoint presentation by speaker, followed by Q&A with moderator, followed by Q&A with audience.

  10. Suds & Science • Science Café style talk • Audience driven • 20-30 verbal presentation, followed by 30 min of discussion with the audience • Minimal fee of $5 • Bringing science to 3 different neighborhoods on a rotating, monthly basis: Vista, Chula Vista and Liberty Station

  11. Crossover: Where Comics & Science Meet • Traditional panel discussion • 60 min moderated panel discussion, followed by 30 min of Q&A • Brings together comic book writers and local scientists to discuss • Free event • Surprising and engaging people with science where they live and play
