My Teacher Oath As your teacher, I , Mr. Byrne, am committed to you, my students, to deliver the best effort possible in providing you with a quality education and a productive classroom environment. I will come prepared to class every day. I will work very hard at paying careful attention to your individual learning needs . I will help you every step of the way throughout the school year. Your success is NOW my mission. And, I will never lose sight of my mission to help you become successful in my class… and beyond!

My Student Expectations • My students will be cooperative for all classroom activities. • My students will be on time for class everyday. • My students will come prepared to class every day. • My students will submit homework on time • My students know if they break school policy, I will report them, no exceptions. • My students know the responsibility with out of class passes and always return to class in an appropriate amount of time. • My students understand the importance of their MATH NOTEBOOK and keeping it up-to-date.

COLLIERHIGH SCHOOL Teacher: Mr. Byrne Subject: Mathematics Student / Teacher Contract • Teacher Agreements: • Mr. Byrne will treat each and every student fairly and with impartiality. • Mr. Byrne will offer individual assistance as often as possible. • Mr. Byrne will provide extra help to whoever requests it. • Mr. Byrne will permit club activities if classroom and homework assignments from the previous week are completed. Work can be made up during the current week.

I will create many opportunities to enrich your grade throughout the year. • The only way you can fail in my class is if you want to. • I promise that if you do your work, you will be rewarded. • I keep records of what you do and how you do in class, so all your efforts (or lack of) will be noted. • Parents have a right to know how their children do in class and they will be informed as the need arises. • There is no such thing as a day off from math education.
