  2. At the CCCC I was a classroom assistant/part-time teacher/music project creator/translator. I assisted the full-time teachers but also taught my own bilingual music lessons and transcribed my English translations of some of the Cantonese songs taught to the students onto sheet music with Cantonese romanizations for the other teachers' future use. Learning movements for one final lyric, “CCCC, we love you!” Having never taught such young children, my teaching experience was certainly broadened. I learned the true importance of multiculturalism and multilingualism in the context of a global society. I also feel oddly prepared for parenthood. DPCS Mentor: Amy Baker '87 I had an excellent experience with my mentor! We traded easy recipes and discussed Dartmouth, life, and everything in between. Crystal Ye '14
