  2. On these Arlington County radios, the opening messageupon “power-up” first displays the “unit number,” i.e. “ARLCo24.” Within a few seconds the unit starts a programmed scan sequence and the display will change to read “ARLCOVA.” * *

  3. 2 To STOP “power-on scan:”1) Press the P2 button.2) Check the channel display3) Then use UP / DOWN Arrows (if needed)4) Select “working channel” per COMPLAN
