  1. Warm up2/7/14 List and describe four traditional American values. - Once you have finished answering place your binders in the box up at the front of the room. - Make sure your name is on it and your warm up sheet and definitions are inside.

Assignment 2nd Block • Write a 1-2 page paper describing how the dancers conveyed (showed) different cultures in their performances. • Paper must include 2 examples from the show. • Standard rubric applies. • If you missed yesterday Write a 1-2 page paper about how Garinger culture is different than other cultures around the world. • When you are finished turn in paper with rubric attached and read “they cage the animals at night”

  3. Assignment 1st Block • Write a 1-2 page paper describing the cultural differences between Akeelah’s culture and that of the other spellers in the bee. • Give at least 3 examples of how the cultures are different. • Standard rubric applies. • When finished turn in paper with rubric attached and read “they cage the animals at night”
