  4. You know you’re a codependent when you die, are now at the pearly gates and you ask St. Peter if there is anything you can do for him. You know you’re a codependent when you get kicked off jury duty for insisting that you’re the guilty one. You know you’re a codependent when you wake up in the morning and ask your spouse, “Good morning, how am I?” Q. Why did the codependent cross the road? A. To help the chicken make a decision.
