Domain 1 Construction Materials and Components Summary &Recommendations • Overall good report • Critical review of progress missing • Terminology • Amend Report with critical review of EU vs. International progress in the area • Support for a PeBBu CPD project • PBB issues in the area to be included EU FP6 IP´s

  3. Domain 2 Indoor Environment Summary & Recommendations • Well written Report • Focus on Indoor Env. limits out several building physics aspects • Analyses of current methods and tools missing • Collect and analyse tools and methods in the area • Link to Client Satisfaction e.g. Human Health needs to be discussed

  4. Domain 3 Design Summary & Recommendations • Discussion:The US development of P B Concept in the 60:ies vs. the present development, and • the pronounced focus on Product Modeling on the market • Include Product Modeling in D3 Programme; a main tool for PBB

  5. Domain 4 Built Environment • Summary & Recommendations • City management issues, Creative city issues, …, like a scoping study • North Eu differences: Sprawl and gentrification not issues, transportation not so bad • Retain Civil Engineering (urban infrastructure) in PeBBu • PBB and Renovation to be explored in greater detail

  6. Domain 5 Organisation and Management • Summary & Recommendations • Interesting Report but not specifically PBB oriented • Unknown North Eu perspective • Procurement important area, but Report neutral • Continue R&D on PBB Procurement in PeBBu

  7. Domain 6 Legal and Procurement Was not discussed. No report from Lithuanian member

  8. Domain 7 Regulation • Summary & Recommendations • Good Report • CPD not included • Are the right competences from North Eu engaged? • A CPD perspective must be included • Improved involvement by regulatory authorities/competences a must • Scope is huge – go forward where possible

Domain 8 Innovation • Summary & Recommendations; NB the full Report was not reviewed • Too much efforts on definitions, e.g. what is Innovation • Metrics needed; ways of measuring Innovation • ”Who needs Innovation: Business does – Clients need performance; focus that dichotomy” • Few members from North Eu in D8 • Sharpen the focus on PBB and the Innovation Process

  10. Domain 9 Documentation • Summary & Recommendations • An understood D9 hypothesis that PBB changes information requirements and flow is not convincingly argued • No State of the Art Report • Big overlap with other groups

  11. North Eu Platform on the (national) SotA’s • Great difference between the various reports • Great challenge to reach reports that really are National • State-of-the-Art should also include the political/administrative progress • Discuss Format
