  3. Overall Objective • The arrangementet shall provide a maximum gliding experience for pilots and teams. Provisions shall be made to ensure that competitors, teams, press and other visitors shall gain a positive experience with the gliding sport in general, and WGC 2004 and Elverum as a site in particular. • All actions shall be measured against this criterum.

  4. Objectives • Offer a High Quality Championship • Provide a suitable site, a successful arrangement, and good gliding conditions in order to develop the club class further • Boost cross country and competition gliding in Norway • Promote the Ole Reistad Soaring Centre as a national and international gliding site to create new revenues • Gain valuable experience for arrangement of future World/European championships • Demonstrate presence in the air space to maintain current position relative to competing users

  5. Mesterskapet i tall • 21 dager med seilflyging – hvorav 14 dager konkurranse • Antall forventede deltagere – 60? • Antall nasjoner – 25-30 ? • Max. 3 deltagere pr. nasjon • > 200 tilreisende • 30 - 50 frivillige • Utgifter > 500’ • Inntekter ???

Vi trenger frivillige mannskaper • Norglide 2003 – 1 uke trening + 1 uke konkurranse – behov 30 personer • VM 2004 – 1 uke trening + 2 uker konkurranse – behov 40 personer • Forlegning i egen camp med grill - militære 16 manns telt inkludert frokost. Redusert pris på matkuponger for øvrige måltid - med gulv og feltsenger • Enhetlig bekledning • Sosialt fellesskap / opplevelse for livet
