  4. Mitosis, or nuclear division, occurs when cells divide.

  5. The nucleus contains the nucleolus, which is NOT membrane bound.

  6. Ribosomes are made by the nucleolus within the nucleus. Therefore, the ribosomes must leave the nucleus before they can do their jobs within the cytoplasm as free floating ribosomes or while attached to endoplasmic reticulum as rough ER.
