But sometimes the screen doesn’t respond to the touch properly and stops functioning. In such situations, you need to troubleshoot the device for fixing the GPS screen.   3. Follow the below directions: • When Screen Fails to Respond Properly • From Menu page choose ‘Settings’. Depending upon the model you are using of Garmin GPS, the Settings section will display wrench icon either on the right side of the main screen or at the bottom of the window. • From the Settings menu, select ‘Display’. • From the ‘Display’ tab, tap on ‘Touch Screen’ and press ‘Recalibrate’. • Follow the directions to fix the touch screen for letting it to respond properly to touch.
