Transcript RequestProcess • Student adds colleges to their list in Naviance • Student brings blue transcript request form home for parent signature • Student returns transcript request form to counselor 15 business days before application deadline • Counselors must receive all forms by November 15th for January 1st deadlines • Check with your college if a PVCC transcript needs to be sent as well

Teacher Recommendation Letters • Student speaks with recommender to confirm they are writing letter • Student adds recommender to their list in Naviance • Student gives teachers Pink Teacher Recommendation Form • Students must give teachers at least 15 business days before application deadlines

  9. Sending Scores • Many colleges have moved to self-reporting • If an official score report is required students must request to have their SAT or ACT scores sent directly to each of the colleges to which they’re applying • www.collegeboard.org • www.act.org

Naviance Student (formerly known as Family Connection) is a program designed to assist students with college and career planning. • Tools include the following: • Career Interest Surveys • Resume Building • College SuperMatch Search Engine • Financial Aid and Scholarship Information ***Seniors use Naviance to identify colleges they are applying to as well as invite staff members to write their letters of recommendation*** ***Counselors use Naviance to submit student transcripts as well as the Counselor letter of recommendation, if requested*** NavianceStudent
