  1. Maggie McGriff My boyfriend Joseph and me. My two kitties Scarlett and Burgundy. Introduction

  2. My History • I was born and raised in southwest Missouri, and grew up on a farm with my two parents and four siblings. Three of my siblings are pictured here—I’m second from the right. This is part of our harvest from the garden this past summer.

  3. My Education • I received my B.S. in Human Environmental Sciences, M.Ed. in Secondary Education, and am now working toward a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the U of A.

  4. Future Goals • I’d like to be a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and eventually move into teaching at the higher education level. I’d like to get married and begin a family in the future, travel, and spare plenty of time to help on my family’s farm. I love gardening, animals, and being outside with my family. This is my boyfriend and me getting ready to ride a hot air balloon!

  5. This semester • I’m a GA for CIED in the CATE department and currently conducting my dissertation research. • I’m also teaching part time at Fayetteville High school. • I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning a lot in this course!
