COMPOSIÇÃO QUÍMICA DA MADEIRA Componentes químicos elementares Em relação a composição química elementar da madeira, pode-se afirmar que não há diferenças consideráveis, levando-se em conta as madeiras de diversas espécies. Os principais elementos existentes são : Carbono (C), Hidrogênio (H), Oxigênio (O) e Nitrogênio (N), este em pequenas quantidades.

    3. A análise da composição química elementar da madeira de diversas espécies, coníferas e folhosas, demonstram a seguinte composição percentual, em relação ao peso seco da madeira Elemento Porcentagem C 49 – 50% H 6% O 44 – 45% N 0,1 – 1%
