She is scheduled to obtain her Ph.D. in Summer this year. 06-06-2008:A papertitled “Hydrogen-Induced Failure in ZnO Multilayer Ceramic Chip Varistors with a Zinc Phosphate Passivation Layer" (First author - Prof. CHEN Wanping of Wuhan University. Dr. Wang as a coauthor) appears in the June issue of Journal of the American Ceramic Society (Vol.91, p.2064-66). 06-08-2008:A papertitled “Ultrasonic particle trapping in microfluidic devices using soft lightography" (First author - Dr. GUO Shishang. Dr. WANG as a coauthor) appears in the May 28 issue of Applied Physics Letters (Vol.92, p.213901). This paper is also selected for the June 9, 2008 issue of Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science & Technology (http://www.vjnano.org). 06-10-2008:A papertitled “The model of electric field dependent dielectric properties for porous ceramics” (First author - Miss ZHANG Yuanyuan. Dr. WANG Yu a coauthor) appears in the June 1 issue of Journal of Applied Physics (Vol.103, p.114103). 06-10-2008:A papertitled “单相多铁性材料——极化和磁性序参量的耦合与调控” (Authors – Dr. WANG Kefeng (Nanjing Univ), Prof. LIU Junming (Nanjing Univ., corresponding author), Dr. WANG) appears in the June issue of 科学通报 (Chinese Science Bulletin) (Vol.53, p.1098-1135). The paper, written in Chinese, is a review that outlines important physical problems in single-phase multiferroic oxide compounds. 06-30-2008:Welcome! Miss Clementine Daisy WALKERreports to duty today. Miss Walker is currently an undergraduate student at Imperial College London. During this summer, she takes part in the exchange students programme arranged by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) via The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE).
