  3. What Makes a Good Career Decision? • Everyone makes decisions differently. Some people listen to their parents, peers, and the media. • When was the last time you made a decision about your career? • How did you make that decision?

  4. Career Decision Making is a Process… • Identify the decision to be made • Gather career related information • Identify alternative career plans • Weigh all information, including “pros” and “cons” • Choose among alternatives • Take action • Review decision and pros and cons
