  32. Function Introduction • Lenovo OneKey Recovery is an easy-to-use application used to back up the data on a system partition (C drive) and then quickly restore it if required. • In Windows, you can: • Create a backup of an entire system partition, saving it to your local hard drive. • Back up your data to a CD, DVD or other removable disk. • Create Windows recovery discs to boot and restore your system if required. • If you need to restore your system, you can: • Select “System Recovery” within Windows. The system will reboot and enter the OneKey Recovery screen. • Press the OneKey Rescue System button to activate Lenovo OneKey Rescue System when your PC is turned off. • Within the program, you can restore your system partition to: • original factory status • previously generated backup.

  33. Perform a System backup • A system backup backs up your system partition to a folder on the hard drive, so that you can restore it in the future, if required. • The program will save the backed up data to the default location D:\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery • You may also select another backup location, such as on a removable storage device. • We suggest that you do the following before you create recovery discs: • Use the latest version of your system's anti-virus software to scan your computer and make sure it is virus-free. • Optimize your system, including scanning and defragmenting your hard drive.
