Union Bank of India wins two prestigious DSCI Excellence Awards 2022: Winner in Best Security practices (BFSI) & Security Leader of the Year (BFSI) Mumbai, December 28, 2022: Union Bank of India (Bank) has bagged two prestigious awards under BFSI segment at the DSCI Excellence Awards 2022, in the recently concluded “Annual Information Security Summit (AISS-2022)” in Gurugram on 23.12.2022. The Bank has been awarded under the categories of “Best Security practices in BFSI” & “Security Leader of the Year BFSI”, honoring the stellar work in Cyber Security and Privacy. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Bank Shri K M Reddy is recognized as the winner of Security Leader of the Year - BFSI. While appreciating the Bank, Ms.A. Manimekhalai, Managing Director & CEO, expressed that, “These awards are recognition of the continuous efforts put in by the Bank to build a robust Cyber Security Culture amongst all its stakeholders in order to make Union Bank of India a Technology driven Cyber Resilient & Customer Centric Bank” Union Bank of India is a frontrunner in adopting new technologies to deliver “Best in class” service to customers by offering various digital products. Bank has taken several initiatives by Establishing Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE), Automated Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing Lab, Ethical Hacking Lab, developing and designing Comprehensive Cyber Security Education & Awareness programs at Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre at Hyderabad.
