Monitoring & Evaluation TeamWhat are the critical area that should be included in the thematic areas • Coordination and collection of data – System, • Quality, consistency and coherency, use of data to influence policy and linking data to policy dialogue • It is important to define baseline indicators track progress on CAADP implementation • Capacity building (need experts to engage and to what extent), build capacity of people who are collecting information • Knowledge Management (sharing information amongst stakeholders) and inter institution collaboration • Link between producers and users • Need for lead institution • When think of CAADP, think that it is different which is not true, it is about different from NAIPs, SACs, CAADP is not a unit same, is it a function

Monitoring & Evaluation TeamHow do you know you are making progress in the thematic area (possible indicators) • Countries with NAIPs should start establishing SAKSS nodes • Needs of key baseline indicators, continuous assessment , analysis and knowledge sharing • Linking to policy making and influence research
