The Problem of Pride • God gave us great position and power over His creation, Gen. 1:26; Psa. 8:4-8 • Should compel faith and humility • Pride tempted Adam and Eve in the garden • Continues to be in Satan’s arsenal against us • The Preeminence of Christ (Colossians) • He is complete in every way, Col. 1:18-19 • Compels us to surrender all to Him, Lk. 6:46; 18:28

The Fullness of Christ Compels Full Surrender to Christ, Colossians 1:9-12 • Live worthy of the Lord in fullness of faith, 1:9-11 • Live in the strength of patience, longsuffering, joy and thanksgiving, 1:10-12 • We have an inheritance, 1:12 • You are complete in Him! 2:10 DEITY CHRIST REDEMPTION POWER
