  13. Model Answer Writing I am a Native American. My tribe is the Iroquois. I am going to describe what a day in my life is like. My father and I get up very early. We like to ride our horses and watch the sunrise. Then, we come back to our village. I help my mother with the farming. We grow vegetables, like corn, beans and squash. We also raise chickens. Sometimes I chase them around the yard. It is my job to collect the eggs each morning. We use the eggs for food. Sometimes we share a meal with our neighbors. Then, I go with my mother down to the river. We get our water for the day. My father and the other men in the village hunt. They hunt for buffalo. We use buffalo for the meat. We also use the skin for clothing. I am too young to hunt. But, they are teaching me how to use a bow and arrow. It is fun, but dangerous. Every afternoon, I learn how to do traditional dances. We perform them on special holidays. I live in a longhouse. A longhouse is built from tree bark. My father built it. The men in the village helped him. Then, it is time for me to help my mother with dinner. After dinner, I go to bed. As you can see, my days are very busy. But I love my family and I love my life as an Iroquois.
