  2. Rationale~ Why? • Tailor the use of the technology funds available to us to benefit our students in the best way. • Help justify spending and encourage more technology donations. • Teachers equipped to enhance the integration of curriculum and technology standards.

  3. Planning Team • In order to asses all areas the following individuals will be part of the tech use plan development team. • One Administrator • Tech Specialist • 2 Teachers • 1-2 Parents/Community Members

  4. Steps 4 Developing a Plan • Receive and consider teacher and student input. • Discuss and establish goals • Design a time line for achievement. • Mold funds into best use. • Finalize decisions • Evaluate

  5. Vision Statement • At Alexander Graham we will utilize all funding and resources to best enhance our teacher ability and student knowledge by providing opportunities for growth and development in a digital world.

  6. Goals and Objectives • Create a support structure for technology. • Integrate technology standards with core curriculum standards. • Enhance everyday learning through technology. • Asses and provide professional growth as needed. • Provide quick and easy maintenance and trouble shooting.

  7. Needs Assessment The staff members of AGMS will complete the attached survey to better determine what types of professional development will be helpful. • http://www.surveyconsole.com/console/TakeSurvey?id=516254 • Staff members will also be asked the level of ease when using available technology. • Additional information will be collected based on student input.

  8. Needs Assessment Continued • Areas addressed will be… • Understanding of types of technology • Ability to apply to curriculum • Ability to enhance everyday learning skills • Familiarity with types of technology. • Technology standards comprehension.

Staff Development • Provide Tech Coaches/Mentors • Tech Study Groups • Reserved Tech Integration Planning time • Participation in “Model and Practice” Professional Development • Include tech goals in IGPs • Curriculum Development Projects (plan in teams) • Better utilize public drive. • Provide an accessible common trouble shooting tip area.

  10. Evaluation • Follow up on IGP progress • Asses level of individual growth via follow up survey. • Review technology standards to assess progress of students and teachers • Reconvene as a team monthly to assess progress and discuss further goals
