Introduction to the Document Management System (DMS) Key functions of the ACCPAC DMS are: • Convert digital format documents (jpg, tiff) to binary (Version 1) • Store binary image data in the ACCPAC database (Version 1) • Relate digital documents to underlying ACCPAC database transactions (Version 1) – AP and PO currently supported others added as required • Retrieve digital documents as they relate to ACCPAC transactions (Version 1) • Configure data capture templates for OCR (Version 2) • Upload captured data to ACCPAC transactional tables (Version 2) • Workflow digital documents (Version 3) • Scan paper documents to digital format direct from the scanner (Version 4) Version 1 – Complete Version 2 – In progress Version 3 – Pending Version 4 – Pending
