  3. Saturday (Sabbath): Jesus is Dead Ecclesiastes 1:2- Meaningless! Meaningless! Says the teacher. Utterly meaningless, everything is meaningless!

  4. Futile Human Treadmill 1 Cor. 15:17;19- And if Christ has not been raised your faith is futile; you are still in your sins…if only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.

  5. Jesus’ Defeated Friends and Family

  8. Hopeless Travelers: (Luke 24:13-35)

  9. Fearful Disciples: (Luke 24:36-49)

  10. Doubting Thomas: (John 20:24-29)

  11. Denying Peter: (John 21:1-23)

  12. Jesus Christ: Resurrected Romans 1:3-4- Who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.He appeared a dozen time to around 500 people!!

  13. Jesus Defeated Sin and Death • 1 Cor. 15:54-56- The saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

  14. Living Hope as the Anchor of our Soul • 1 Pet. 1:3- Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

  15. Kingdom Now and Not Yet: Jesus is New Creation Hope! Hebrews 2:8- In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at the present time we do not see everything subject to him. But WE SEE JESUS, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

  16. Jesus’ Kingdom Family Commission Matt. 28:18-20- “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” John 20:21- “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
