  5. Plant Life • Massive Root System Can With Stand: • Fires • Rainfall • Droughts • Conserve Water • Plants • Indigos • Clovers

  6. Animals • Adapted to: • Dry, windy conditions • Openness of land • Burrowing for escape • Predators blend with vegetation • Animals • Bison • Deer • Jack Rabbits

  7. Endangered species • Prairie Chicken • Live in Tall Prairie Grass • Homes are being cut down for: Farmland Ranches Covered By Cities
