  1. Friday Psali

  2. Friday Psali • And he who carries his cross day after day, and keeps his mind and heart, on the Name of Salvation, of our Lord Jesus Christ. • Our hearts are happy, and our tongues rejoice, whenever we sing to the Name, of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. • Thisis theName of Salvation, of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Life-giving Cross, which He was crucified upon. • Blessed is the man who forsakes this life, and its vain pleasures, that are full of all suffering, that kill the soul. • Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave a sign to His servants, who do fear Him, to cast out the devils. • Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave a sign to His servants, who do fear Him, to put out the power of fire. • Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and unto the ages of all ages, Amen. † • Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave a sign to His servants, who do fear Him, to escape from the face of the bows. • Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave a sign to His servants, who do fear Him, to shut the mouths of lions. • Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave a sign to His servants, who do fear Him, to prevail over their enemies. • Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave a sign to His servants, who do fear Him, to heal every sickness. • And whenever we sing, let us say tenderly, Our Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon our souls. • Wherefore let us glorify, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Good Father, and the Holy Spirit. • For truly I approached, a great prince, which is the Name of Salvation, of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Friday Theotokia 2

  3. Friday Theotokia • For the sun of Righteousness, shone unto us from you, with healing under His wings, for He is the Creator. • Blessed are you among women, and blessed is your fruit, O Mary the mother of God, the undefiled virgin.

  4. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him.

  5. Friday Theotokia 2 • No one is like you, O Mary the Virgin, the angels honour you, and the Seraphim glorify you. • For He who sits upon the Cherubim, came and was incarnate of you, and He united us with Him, through His goodness. • You are blessed more favoured than heaven, and more honoured than earth, you exceed every thought, who can speak of your honour.

  6. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him.

  7. Friday Theotokia 3 • He who existed before all ages, came and was incarnate of you, and the Ancient of the Days, came out of your womb. • He took our body, and gave us His Holy Spirit, and made us one with Him, through His goodness. • Blessed are you O Mary, and blessed is your fruit, O Virgin Mother of God, the pride of virginity.

  8. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him.

  9. Friday Theotokia 4 • You are the soul’s city, where the Most High One lived, who sits upon the throne, of the Cherubim. • He held to your breasts, and you fed Him, for He is our God, and the Saviour of everyone. • The Seraphim glorify Him, and you held Him in your arms, He who gives food to all flesh, through His great compassion. • He shepherds all of us, forever and ever, we praise and glorify Him, and exalt Him. • Many women were honoured, yet you exceeded them all, for you are the pride of virgins, O Mary the Mother of God.

  10. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him.

  11. Friday Theotokia 5 • The fruit of your womb, came and saved the world, and He abolished all enmity, and granted us His peace. • Through His Cross and His holy Resurrection. He restored man once more to the Paradise. • O Virgin Mary, the wise Mother of God, the garden of fragrance, the holy fountain of the living water.

  12. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him.

  13. Friday Theotokia 6 • Intercede on our behalf, before Christ whom you have born, that He may grant unto us, the forgiveness of our sins. • O Virgin Mary, the holy Mother of God, the trusted advocate, of the human race.

  14. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him.

  15. Friday Theotokia 7 • “For I know nothing, Other than the voice of the angel, announcing the joy, coming to me from heaven.” • The Virgin Mary has proclaimed, in the altar saying “My peace, God does know.”

  16. He took what is ours, and gave us what is His, we praise Him and glorify Him, and exalt Him. The Batos Lobsh

  17. The Batos Lobsh • Many are your praises, O who is adorned with honour, for you became a dwelling, for the wisdom of God. • You are the rational net, that catches Christians, and teaches them to worship, the life-giving Trinity. • You became the Ark, for Him who created heaven and earth, you carried Him in your womb, for nine full months. • You were also trusted with, the fullness of heaven and earth, and you became our reason, to progress to heaven. • You are the one who carried the Pillar which Moses saw, who is the Son of God, who came and dwelt in your womb. • What do I call you, O pure Virgin, who gave birth to the incomprehensible, and Infinite One. • We ask you to remember us, O trusted advocate, before our Lord Jesus Christ, that He may forgive us our sins. • You are brighter than the sun, you are the East, toward which the righteous look, with happiness and joy. • Eve was sentenced, to give birth with deep pain, while to you it was said, “Hail to you O full of grace.” • Wherefore we sing, with Elizabeth you cousin, saying “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” • We hail you, with Gabriel the Angel saying, Hail to you O full of grace, the Lord is with you.”

  18. The Conclusion of Batos Theotokias • O our Lord Jesus Christ, who carries the sin of the world, count us with Your sheep, those who are to Your right. • For blessed is the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the perfect Trinity, we worship and glorify Him. • And when You come again, in Your Second fearful Appearance, may we never fearfully hear, You say I do not know you. • But rather may we be made worthy, to hear the voice full of joy, of Your tender mercies, proclaiming and saying. • The Son of God shall come in His glory, and His Father’s glory, to give unto everyone, according to his deeds which he has done. • My peace which I have taken, from My Father, I leave unto you, both now and forever.” • O the angel of this day, flying up with this hymn, remember us before the Lord, that He may forgive us our sins. • The sick heal them, those who have slept O Lord repose them, and all our brothers in distress, help us my Lord and all of them. • May God bless us, and let us bless His Holy Name, and may His praise continually be, always upon our mouths. • “Come unto Me, O blessed of My Father, and inherit the life, that endures forever.” • The martyrs will come, bearing their afflictions, and the righteous will come, bearing their virtues. • O Christ the Word of the Father, the Only Begotten God, grant us You peace, that is full of joy.
