  3. MDE MDE is no longer requiring assessment reporting for: • 8th grade technology proficiency • Personnel Skilled in Technology (PSTA)

  4. REMC – remc.org -Last year REMC and MACUL became official partner. The two organizations share a professional development coordinator. -REMC is now an ISTE Affiliate! -New REMC programs: • Connected Educator Video Series • Blended Teaching and Learning PD • New 21 Things for Students Site • Check out free Moodle courses/units under “Michigan Learns Online”

  5. Upcoming Events • November 9, 2012 – Wayne RESA Instructional Technology Leaders Group meeting. 9am-2:30pm. Topic: Mobile Devices • November 15-16 - Michigan Digital Learning Conference, Macomb ISD. Featured speakers: Steve Dembo and Leslie Fisher. • November 28 - Michigan Student Technology Showcase, Michigan Capitol, Lansing. • January 10, 2013 – Michigan Moodle Moot, CCRESA, St. Johns, MI. REMC-MACUL Partnership. • March 20-22, 2013 - 2013 MACUL Conference, Cobo Center, Detroit. • April 26, 2013 - Upper Peninsula MACUL Conference, Houghton. Co-hosted by REMC 1.
