  1. Who is Missionary Ventures Canada? What does a missions team do? • There are different types of teams that are sent out. • Construction • Medical • Ministry • Outreach Missionary Ventures Canada is an interdenominational organization that sends out mission teams that work with individuals and churches to bring the message of Jesus Christ to areas that are struggling and need help.

  2. MISSION AND VISION • The mission of Missionary Ventures is to identify, equip and empower indigenous Christian leadership to reach the world for Jesus Christ fulfilling the great call of the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. • The vision of missionary ventures is to mobilize Christians and churches for missions.

  5. WHERE IS SWAZILAND Population – 1.18 million in 2010 Religion – 95% Christian

WHY SWAZILAND? • Swaziland is one of the areas in Africa that has the highest percentage of AIDS in the general population. • About 26 % of adults are infected with HIV and 50 % of adults in their 20’s. • Due to the high mortality rate of adults, there are a lot of children orphaned. If these children will have a chance to a future, they will need help.
