Introduction to Magnetic Particle Testing: - Overview of magnetic particle testing principles. - Basic concepts of magnetism. - Application of magnetic fields in inspection. 2. Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment: - Understanding and operating magnetic particle testing equipment. - Types of magnetic particle testing equipment. Calibration procedures for magnetic particle equipment. 3. Magnetic Particle Testing Techniques: - Wet and dry magnetic particle testing methods. - Continuous and residual magnetization techniques. Bench and mobile magnetic particle equipment. 4. Visible Magnetic Particle Inspection: - Principles and techniques of visible magnetic particle inspection. - Application of magnetic particles, wet and dry methods. Interpretation of visible indications. 5. Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Inspection: - Principles and techniques of fluorescent magnetic particle inspection. - Use of UV light for enhanced visibility. - Application of magnetic particles in fluorescent inspection. Interpretation of fluorescent indications. 6. Magnetization Methods: - Understanding various magnetization methods. - Proper application of magnetization based on material and component geometry.
