About Us • Accountability is a web-based debt and credit management agency based in Cape Town. • The company was founded as a means to protect businesses from the risk of outstanding payments by providing them with 24-hour access to all the tools they need. • Members have access to several services and debt collectors, as well as the ability to report credit behaviour to registered Credit Bureaus.

  3. Services: Consumer Criminal Check • One of the services members are provided with is the ability to do do a background screening on individuals. • These will typically be done for fraud investigations, employment reasons or migration requirements. • The criminal check is done by analysing the fingerprints of the individual in question, not their ID number.

  4. Services: Driving License Verification • If for any reason you would need to verify the driver’s license of a driver, Accountability can verify its existence. • Businesses typically verify employee’s drivers’ licenses if they are being hired as a potential driver or if they are being given permission to drive the company vehicle. • The report will provide you with information such as when the license expires, its code status, etc.

Services: Comprehensive 4-in-1 Consumer Credit Report • Before engaging in any financial transaction, businesses should review the creditworthiness of the individual. • The Comprehensive 4-in-1 Consumer Credit Report combines information obtained from the four major Credit Bureaus in South Africa. • The information reflects the present creditworthiness of the individual.

  6. Services: Consumer Trace • As a business, it is inevitable that you will experience bad payers and non-payers. With consumer trace, you will be able to track down said bad payers or non-payers, reducing any outstanding payment risks and losses. • This product provides the member with the last known cellphone number, address and consumer information of the individual.

  7. Services: Consumer Trace Alert Request • This service is an add-on of the previous service, Consumer Trace. • If Credit Bureaus receive any new information on the individual, you will be notified. • This information can include changes in residential address, contact numbers, employment, etc.
