  1. Health problem definition KISS (new) KISS (Kopfgelenk Induzierte Symmetrie Störungen) is being defined by the EWMM as a disorder in the natural maturing and developmental proces of the neonate to a valuable functional and perceptive, cognitive and motorical interaction within the individue, primary on the basis of an upper cervical arthrogenic functional disorder. No neurological or internal co-pathology can be diagnosed. There is no influence of personal or external bias.

  2. Main objective of treatment • After 3 treatment sessions: • There are no more impairments at • or around the treated area. • There are no more restrictions of activities. • Participation is normal • Is interventie of children PhT neccesary? • Are the parents / guardians familiar with preventive and or therapeutic measures, and how things may / will develop further.

  3. Sub objective of treatment • After 3 treatment sessions: • There is complete normalisation of the symmetry or such a considerable reduction that the symmetry can be influenced by children pht. • There is no more internal vegetative disregulation • There is no longer unreasonable crying • Etc.

  5. Evaluation of treatment: • Impairment level: • Palpation • Mobility examination • (X Ray)

  6. Continued evaluation treatment • Activity level: • motor development (symmetry) • nutritional functions • behavior • level of alertness – activity level • (ARAS – DRAS)

Treat methodicological • target : treatment must be effective, measurable and specific • be aware: mt and kiss ask for a carefull planning, • execution and thought!! • systematic: precise plan • process • evaluation: treatment effectiveness and end fase Kiss and Mt. is a form of responsible methodical treatment !

  9. Are there patiënt influenced variables / properties that can be of influence e.g. coping style for Kiss?? • Do external factors play a part in how the disorder is coped with??
