Recommendations and Support: • That our Mission Symposia be “multi-audience friendly”: For academics & various groups of laity • That we use our Jubilee to promote ourselves as the CFMSA in mission together with our US Bishops, Ordinaries, and US Catholic laity • That we seek letters from the USCCB and from the Vatican during 2010 to assist us in announcing & promoting our 2011 Jubilee Year • That Fr. E. Dougherty be present at the USCCB’s November 2010 Plenary Meeting to reinforce the US Bishops’ “ownership” of & responsibility for our Maryknoll Society from its foundation • That Society members & employed Mission Educators speak in US archdioceses/dioceses throughout 2011 to give thanks for prayerful & financial support received over the past 100 years • That the Society focus during its Jubilee Year on Maryknoll’s martyrs & the example of their lives for all
