Usually, a missed period is the first sign of a pregnancy. This is because once a woman is expectant, the ovum that would have been shed is already fertile and hence the period will not occur. However, there are other reasons that can lead to a missed period but the most common is because there is a pregnancy.
The first and most common symptom is morning sickness. This is a feeling of nausea and sometimes vomiting during the first few minutes of waking up.
Though many women experience this in the morning, there are a few cases where the experience has occurred at different times of the day depending on the individuals hormones. Morning sickness usually occurs at around six weeks after they have had their period.
During the early stages of pregnancy a woman will experience a lot of unusual tiredness. This is caused by hormonal changes in your body which will continually alter your emotions.

Sore breasts I another early pregnancy sign. For an expectant woman, her breasts experience changes that may be similar to those experienced during their monthly period.
Some of these changes include, the veins becoming more visible, tenderness in the breasts and they tend to become a bit larger than usual. It is also expected that the nipples will become darker in color and they will become more pronounced: meaning they will tend to protrude more outwards than usual.
During the early stages of pregnancy, a woman’s senses tend to become more sensitive. This is most common for smell, taste and cravings. These are characterized by a metallic taste in the mouth, strange cravings for foods that you haven’t had in a long time and sometimes for foods that you have never tried.
It is also common for you to lose interest in different kinds of food that you usually enjoy. Your sense of smell will become more sensitive to different smells especially those of foods.
It is also common for an expectant woman to have the urge to urinate more often than usual especially at night. She may also experience constipation and virginal discharges despite not having any sensations of soreness or irritation.
