Amy Cimber Started Her Career as an Events Coordinator for a KVL/AV Workshop
Amy Cimber is a highly skilled Events Manager who has worked on various events both locally and nationwide. She has gained full event production experience after working for numerous Venues, Catering Companies and an AV Company.
During her twenty-six years of successful career, she has established many venue & vendor contacts in New York, Las Vegas, Florida and California. She is a forward thinker, an expert problem solver, and effective communicator.
With her creative ideas, she beautifully brings the vision of her clients to fruition. She is also savvy with technology and likes to stay current with all the latest trends in events.
Career Highlights Amy Cimber got her professional start in 2002 as an events coordinator for a KVL/AV Workshop in Miami and New York. She was responsible for the entire event production, coordination and management.
She did everything from coordinating vendors for speaking engagements for Mayor Bloomberg, creating AV and event production schedules, to writing technical work orders and managing budgets.
Later in her career, she got the opportunity to work for Frungillo Catering/Mansion Events, Westminster Hotel (Livingston), and In Thyme Events/Florentine Gardens.
Education Amy Cimber is an alumna of University of Maryland from where she has done her Bachelors in Business Administration. She is also an Event Management Certificate holder from the Art Institute (2015).
She was on the Deans List with a 4.0 GPA. Currently, she is pursuing her MBA on-line with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with an expected graduation date of the spring 2020.
She is proficient in all MS programs, such as Word, Excel, Illustrator, etc.
Charitable Endeavors Amy Cimber has worked in various events pro bono for companies like The Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society and Make a Wish Foundation. She has also participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York City.
She is an Atlantic Healthcare Hospice Volunteer, and an active supporter of Steven Siller Foundation & Common Threads. Other than work and charity, what keeps Amy occupied in free time are her hobbies. She likes Barre 3, reading, walking, and hiking.
