Two Smaller Ovens vs One Big Cavity
Preparing a meal is not always easy when you want to cook different items at the same time, but at different temperatures. Typically, a normal single oven will not allow for this, but investing in a range cooker with more than one oven allows you to cook two or more dishes at the same time and also reduce your energy consumption. Another thing to consider when looking at free- standing cooking is your style of cooking and how you like to use the ovens. Would you prefer a single larger cavity or smaller cavities? The differences between the two are, with a large cavity, you can fit larger trays. You can feed a lot of people out of that one oven.
Falcon does offer a large cavity oven which has an energy saving panel which goes in the middle of the oven. This divides the oven in two and will disengage the left hand side of the oven so only the right hand side will work. Most of the time we are cooking small amounts of food and a couple of times a year we might be cooking for families at Christmas and Easter. On those occasions, you would take that energy saving panel out and you have a large cavity. With free-standing ovens that have separate ovens, the benefit is that you can be cooking different meals at different temperatures at different times. So you could have your Sunday roast going in your left hand oven and you could be cooking your dessert in your right hand oven on different functions and at different temperatures.
Falcon National Brand Manager Joanne Edwards talks about the difference between having one bigger oven versus two smaller cavities, and what the benefits are.
Being able to use two cavities at the same time to cook two different dishes is certainly a game changer for those who like to cook. Find out more about what Falcon ovens have to offer by visiting the Andi-Co website.
