But recently, Mr. Foscolo has been getting sick and tired of all of the lame reality TV programming And he started to get angry…
The idea was to create his own reality TV show, and he would call it, “Principal Swap” In this new show, Principals from one side of the world would be swapped with Principals from another side of the world
So, Mr. Foscolo made the necessary calls and had his meeting for executives from FOX to get his show going
The FOX executives loved the idea, and decided to throw lots of money at Mr. Foscolo so he could make the show happen.
Mr. Foscolo needed to make this show happen quickly, so he decided to accept the first applicant to the show. The first was Principal Smith from Gonzalez Middle School is Damascus, Syria
Mr. Foscolo knew he needed another Principal to swap with Principal Gonzalez, and fast, so he begged Principal Deamer from Valleyview to help out
He agreed… but under the condition that the Mr. Foscolo’s 6th graders educate him about life in Syria in advance…..
YOUR MISSION!! • Help out Mr. Foscolo!!!! Principal Deamer has agreed to swap places with a principal from a different part of the world. Mr Deamer will swap places with Principal Smith from Gonzalez Middle School in Damascus, Syria. As a part of the show, the students must first prepare their principal for his or her trip by informing him or her on the area they are going to be moving to. The three things the students should focus on are: • the religious beliefs of the people of Damascus • the ethnic groups that make up the city of Damascus • the religious holidays that the large population of Muslims in Damascus observe. • Each student is to report on one of the three topics. Once enough research has been accumulated, they can begin to form a rough draft that follows the guidelines of the rubric below. When all reports are finished, they will put together in a display that will be used for the reality show in getting Mr. Deamer ready for his trip to Syria.
