Program Goals & Objectives • Advanced training in the clinical practice of dentistry • Diagnosis and treatment planning in a problem based manner using total patient evaluation • Proficiency in interdisciplinary interaction in outpatient, hospital and didactic settings • Clinical & hospital experience in comprehensive & emergency oral care to a wide range of patients • Simulation of the practice of dentistry in a private practice setting • Engage in the practice of dentistry based on a critical review and presentation of the literature

Hospital Experience • In-Patient Consultations • Memorial Hermann and TIRR • Average 250 per year • Necessary examination and treatment performed either at bed-side, UDC during their admission or after discharge, or in the OR • Coordination with primary admitting team
