  2. Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

  3. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

  4. Salvation by grace---what God does What grace is For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

  5. What is a “free gift” A gift is something which one has no right to expect, which has not been earned due to work A “wage” is not a “gift” Paul wrote, "Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but as what is due" (Romans 4:4 NASB).
