  1. TWO STORIES OF FAITH By Becky Kew Published at www.GospelHall.org

  2. A man named Jairus had a very sick daughter.

  3. Jairus believed that the Lord Jesus was the only one who could save his daughter from dying. There were so many people and they watched as Jairus pleaded with the Lord to come. When the crowd saw the Lord Jesus turn to follow Jairus, they wanted to go with him also. Everyone wanted to be near the Lord Jesus and see what he would do.

  4. The Lord Jesus wants people to: C _ _ _ to him. B _ _ _ _ _ _ in him. F _ _ _ _ _ him.

  5. SHOULD WE LISTEN TO HIM? WHY?

  6. HE IS GOD!

  7. WHO TOUCHED ME?

  8. The Lord Jesus was wanting the woman to confess her faith publicly. He knew all things, and knew that her touch was different from all of the others who werepushing against him. She touched him believing that he could heal her.All the other efforts she had tried through out the years had failed her. But the Lord Jesus didn’t!

  9. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life, no person can come to the Father but by me. John 14:6

  10. Jairus was still waiting………………… • He did not give up. • He did not let anything distract him from getting to Jesus. Even that big crowd! • Do my friends distract me from turning to Jesus?

  11. The Lord Jesus said, “Do not be afraid.” “Believe in me!”

  12. These people did not have faith in the Lord Jesus. They showed it by their actions.

  13. Three ways Jairus and the sick woman were alike 1. Both had knowledge about the Lord Jesus. 2. Both believed in their minds that he could help them. 3. Both of them trusted him.

  14. WHAT ABOUT YOU? DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD? HAVE YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN HIM FOR FORGIVENESS? But to as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become children of God. John 1:12

  15. You can find this story in the Gospel of Mark Chapter 5:21
