  2. About US Art world School is a professional skill based art school established in 1997 in Portland and now located in NW Portland. It is located right across from Findley Elementary and close to the Beaverton, Bethany, Forest Heights, and Cedar Mill areas. It was established by Pacific Northwest artists, then later expanded by art professional Mimi Yan.

  3. After School Program All these classes are available in the program, please refer to the daily schedule of classes below. Students can spend their after school time effectively to work on their homework, receive additional tutoring in core subject areas, and learn different Fine Art as well as Digital Art skills. Students will get a well-rounded professional skill-based art curriculum. And this art curriculum will include teaching fundamental skills, techniques, and methods using different 2D, 3D, and Digital mediums. For Fine Art classes, students will develop a strong foundation with important skill sets in drawing and painting with different mediums. They will also receiving profession training in 3D art mediums with mixed media, various kinds of clay, calligraphy, and a wide array of arts and craft projects help build fine motor skills accordingly.

  4. Digital Art Classes Our Digital Art classes act as both a leaping-off point for students into the world of Digital Art and to build on the fundamentals of art in the digital medium. All digital art classes will have drawing involved and teach students figure drawing, character design, creating different color effects, and different genres of illustration. Content taught in Procreate will include layers, selection, different masks, modes, making gradients/color alterations, using different brushes, and more.Procreate and Photoshop can only be used on an iPad or any laptop (Android,Chrome, etc are all ok), so students need a drawing tablet that they can hook up to a laptop to draw on if they are not using an iPad. Drawing tablets can be purchased starting at around $50.

  5. Adult Art Classes Small 6 student group classes or private one-on-one classes that can be scheduled however you like. You will have a Mindbody scheduling account created for you to conveniently book classes. Each class is a combination some introduction and instructions given by the instructor to the whole class, and individual instruction for each student on their own projects. The instruction will give instruction and demonstration on specific mediums and techniques through each class. Each student can work on their own project that suits their own level and interests, or work on examples provided the introductory for that particular class.
