  8. 11th National Development Plan • Incorporating SDG’s into the development plan will allow us to evaluate SDG’s within our own development framework. • A Task Force established within the MoD • To integrate SDGs into all key policy documents, including NDPs, regional plans, annual programs, and sectoral strategies

Monitoring • Strongstatistical infrastructure • The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) a central role on monitoring SDGs • TurkStatworks on bettermonitoringand data managenent • Since 2000, national sustainable development indicator set, composed of 132 indicators under 10 categories • 45 %of SDG indicators are currently produced in Turkish Statistical System

Why Evaluation? • Generate evidence on what works and not works • Currently, • Plan-Program-Project • quarterly M&E systemin the AnnualProgram • Assess progress in SDG implementationwith a cause and effect perspective • Providerobustfeedbacktopolicymakers • Addmore meaning and depth to asses our performance for SDG achievements
