  1. Arizona Army National Guard Strategic Plan Organizational Motto: “Always Ready – Always There” Vision: Soldier-focused, growth oriented, and successful in all missions. Mission: The Arizona Army National Guardis “Always Ready-Always There”, providing military forcesto accomplish Community, State and Federal missions. Community Mission:When approved by The Adjutant General, participate in programs that improve the quality of life in Arizona communities. State Mission:When directed by the Governor, soldiers will serve and protect the interests of the State and its citizens. Federal Mission: When directed by the President, provide military forces to support US involvement in armed conflict, contingency operations, emergencies and homeland security. Strategic Goals: Goal 1: Provide a ready force The Arizona Army National Guard will continuously improve Soldier and unit readiness. Goal 2: Effectively Manage ResourcesThe Arizona Army National Guard will safeguard and effectively utilize human, financial and natural resources. Goal 3: Add Value to Community, State and NationThe Arizona Army National Guard is a vital resource, supporting community activities, increasing economic impact and providing emergency response to our citizens.
